Konstruct stands for action and thought. These two movements come together in every work: the act of creation and the concept that supports the physical construction.
Each work is a fragment within a larger narrative. The works wear traces of something that preceded them: a gesture, a memory, the collective memory. Some objects appear to have been found, others constructed, but they are always somewhere between the beginning and the end. The objects raise fundamental questions about origin and meaning. It is a dialogue between the modern and the archaic, in which the works on display unfold from elementary forms. They invite the observer to return to the essence of the material and the nature of the object.
Konstruct emerged as a collection of designers with a shared vision of matter and culture. The works form a coherent collection. The different materials and archetypes complement each other to come together in a self-constructed context.
