Onas Uytdewilligen (BE, 2002) is a Belgian designer whose practice begins with material exploration. What is often left behind or seen as waste becomes, for him, the starting point for something new. He does not treat leftover materials as excess, but as carriers of traces, stories, and potential.

Driven by intuition and a strong respect for process, Onas works hands-on, allowing form to emerge through making. Traditional techniques are reinterpreted through experimentation, letting the material guide the outcome. His work moves fluidly between sculpture, design, and function, resulting in pieces that feel both grounded and expressive.

He embraces imperfection and the quiet qualities of raw materials. His focus lies on honesty, curiosity, and the subtle narratives materials hold, encouraging a more sensitive way of looking, thinking, and making.
